About us

A small studio, on purpose.

Fieldstone is a nine-person brand & web studio. We design the identity, build the website, and write the words — and we would rather do three things well than ten things adequately.

Fieldstone Studio

Fourteen years at the same table

Fieldstone started in 2012 as two desks, a borrowed camera, and one conviction: good companies were being let down by ordinary websites. The work was better than the way it looked online — and everybody knew it except the customers.

Fourteen years later the studio is nine people — designers, builders, and writers at one table. The clients are bigger and the sites are faster, but the conviction has not moved: the quality people get in person should be the quality they find first online.

We don’t decorate businesses. We introduce them — properly, to the people who have been looking for them all along.

How we work

Principles we won’t trade

Nine people, and about as many opinions as a studio table can hold. These are the three we have never once argued about.

01

Designed before it’s quoted

Every project starts as sketches, drafts, and honest mock-ups before anyone talks seriously about budget. Surprises belong in the work, not in the invoice.

02

The people you meet do the work

The designers who pitch your project are the ones who build it. Nothing is handed down a chain of strangers in the middle of an engagement.

03

Built to be handed over

We build sites your own team can update without us — documented, explained, and entirely yours. A website you cannot run yourselves is a hostage situation, not an asset.

The studio

Nine people. Every project gets a founder’s eyes.

Fieldstone is deliberately small — nine people across brand, web, and words; no juniors learning on your budget, and the person you meet first is the person who does the work.

JC

June Calloway

Founder · Brand

Founded Fieldstone in 2012 at a two-desk office. Still sketches every identity by hand before it goes near a screen.

PR

Priya Raman

Lead · Web

Builds the sites and writes the documentation that ships with them. Believes a handover is a deliverable, not a favour.

SL

Sofia Lindqvist

Lead · Words

Writes the sentences. Interviews your customers before drafting a word of your homepage — the voice has to come from somewhere real.

Producer

Keeps the calendar honest — scopes, stages, and the Friday note. The reason “we’ll send it Tuesday” means Tuesday.
